Agenda, Attendee List and Presentations are available to members in the PRESENTATION LIBRARY

Today's new cars average 60-100 sensors on board, and they are expected to have double those numbers within 5 years. These numbers translate to approximately 22 billion sensors used in the automotive industry per year by 2020. Why you gotta be so sensitive? Because you can only manage that which you measure.

More sensors enable "smarter" and more complicated cars. Which, if we manage this transition well, can translate into opportunity, improved safety, and happier customers. But if we manage it poorly, can translate to mountains of under-utilized data and privacy risks.

  • So what are the emerging applications enabled by the next-generation sensors and electronics?
  • And what are the technologies that will enable new applications?
  • What will the industry do with all the data?

This meeting is free for Autotech Council members, open to non-members for a $200 fee, and Rapid Fire Demo Slots are available during registration to companies who can show off new products or services based on sensors and sensor technology.
